The theme behind the shoe is it’s inspired by one of the main characters from the fictional manga and anime series Slam Dunk, Hanamichi Sakuragi. The series is based out of Japan, with Sakuragi is known as a slacker whom is a high school basketball player from Kanagawa Prefecture.
